Harry Potter, aka 12-year-old Joshua Hernandez, of Miami, couldnt conjure up a spell powerful enough to zap him away from the operating room. Joshua was a “patient” at Baptist Childrens Hospitals Childrens Health Day held Oct. 28, and got a ride on an operating room table courtesy of Jorge Valdes, a certified nurse anesthetist. The event gave kids a chance to take part in hands-on health activities, learn the importance of hand-washing in eliminating germs, gather information about nutrition and participate in free health screenings.
